Well, even if you CAN interpret it in anyway, the real meaning is that the artist gives to it. I don't know if Regina gave an interview about the song, but you should look after it.For me the song is all about respect of belief, of how people need the idea of God (it being true or false) sometimes and people must respect that ALL the time (even at cocktail parties), because it's not funny in certain situations, even you might need it. So respect, just that. ^^

@RBkidd510 i thought it was more of a neutral stand. we laugh at God jokes, thus making Him funny, but no one laughs at Him (even atheists) when under threatening conditions. I think it's a mild criticism on both theists and atheists, without actually criticizing them. she just said facts without really having a claim.
