most of these come down to poor training(what colour is the truck training) go to a reputable accreditation trainer or the 99% of clueless company's that employ supervisors / managers that are not fit for toilet cleaning ...believe it or not alot of these are high street names

@bombhead2 well iknow all about safety.i have had A-z transport licences lifts skid steers loaders licenses ect. and have worked swing stage/suspended access zoom/scissor lifts and on many other highly regulated sites. i have dealt with minstry, had sites with full stops put on them by the city . i have seen many fines dealt. companies go under.fork lift driving is donkey shit . its like the gateway drug 2 bigger things.

@milldabeast519 nope, didn't go out my way to research health and safety act, you need to have at least health and safety level 2 here to even think about driving a forklift, i have mine, so yea, i know what it takes, RTITB is a standard, you can use RTITB licencing in all forklift jobs, In-house licencing is piss poor and that's where the "monkies" apply for jobs, they dont't teach you right, that thing i will agree on, but PPE(personal protective equipment) is as strict here as it is with you. |
