The video reminds me of the trip to Spain and Portugal my family took in 2004. We visited Ebora and stayed at "Pousada dos Loios" several days. I vividly remember the small Roman temple nearby and the appearance of the Pousada as shown in the video. I remember the castle and also "a Capela dos Ossos" which has its interior walls and ceiling made of human bones...Amalia Rodrigues had an amazing talent!

Altough I'm brazilian and I'm writing in english, I do have a stronger relashionship with Portugal than with Brazil itself. Unfortunatelly today, when listening to this music, I can only cry, remembering the evenings with my grandma, that left us just a while ago. I now love Fado, just as much as i will always love my beloved Grandma... Miss You Granny!!! Love, Kauê!

I love Amalia's voice and style. She is the pride of Portugal. I'm from Ecuador and I've been listening to her songs for about 30 years. Greetings to my portuguese friends. |
